  1. Are these resources free?

    The Autodesk Resources are application prototypes that Autodesk is evaluating for incorporation into their product line and presentations about how to use Autodesk products to comply with federal mandates. Please refer to the Terms of Use for more information on the limitations attached to the use of these resources. There is no charge for downloading the applications and presentations.
  2. How long will these resources be available?

    These resources will be available until February 28, 2012.
  3. What is Autodesk’s expectation for use of these resources?

    Autodesk believes these resources are valuable for AEC firms who must comply with government requirements for BIM data and BIM formats. However, anyone is welcome to download, test and comment upon these resources.
  4. How are the applications related to Revit?

    The resources are based on the Revit 2011 code base, with Revit 2012 compatible applications anticipated to be released in the near future.
  5. Has the government approved these applications?

    Neither DCStrategies nor Autodesk has requested official government approval of these applications. However, we have been told informally that government agencies consider these resources to be of benefit to the industry.
  6. Do Autodesk resellers support these applications?

    No, these applications are not officially part of the Autodesk product line and are not supported by Autodesk resellers. Please address any comments, questions or problems to DCStrategies by using the “Support” link on the web page.
  7. How can I give feedback to Autodesk?
